Public raises over $60,000 for cyclist who flipped off Trump

(NY DAILY NEWS) – She did the finger-raising, now everyone else is doing some fundraising.

The woman who flipped off President Trump while riding her bicycle, only to lose her job over the photo, is getting help from donors online.

Juli Briskman found short-lived anonymous notoriety when a photo was taken of her from behind as she rode on her bike next to the President’s motorcade the weekend before Halloween, clearly telling 45 that he’s number 1.

Still without a job however, a GoFundMe campaign was created on Nov. 6 to assist the able-fingered activist with a goal of $100,000.

“Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all,” the page reads. “This week we learned that she was fired from her employer for exercising her first amendment rights. You can show your support by donating here.”

As of Monday afternoon, it has raised over $60,000.

A few days after the image went viral late last month, Briskman told her employer, government contracting firm Akima LLC, that she was the one who gave the commander-in-chief her middle finger unsheathed, as opposed to letting them find out through another source.
