A man was stabbed in the back and robbed of almost $6,000 in designer goods by two men he met outside his Manhattan hotel to by drugs from, police sources said Sunday.
The 37-year-old victim met two drug dealers outside the Four Points Hotel on 40th St. near Eighth Ave. in Midtown about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday. The dealers noticed his flashy clothes and decided to rob him, police sources said.
The dealers grabbed his Versace bag, Louis Vuitton wallet and two iPhones, police said.
When the desperate victim tried to snatch his belongings back, one of the drug dealers stabbed him in the back with a sharp object, sources said.
Cops released surveillance images of the suspects and asked the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
One suspect has a slim build and was wearing a black baseball hat, a face mask, a black jacket with white sleeves, black pants and white sneakers, cops said.
The other suspect has a medium build and short black hair and was wearing a green button-down short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and green sneakers.
