Like mother, like child.
An enraged mother pummeled a 71-year-old woman with her own cane on the Upper East Side, after the septuagenarian suggested the suspect teach her son some manners, authorities said Tuesday.
The elderly woman was taking an elevator from the 86th St./2nd Ave. Q train station to street level about 2:10 p.m. Monday when a young woman and her 4-year-old boy rushed in as people were getting out, police said.
“Maybe you should teach your child to wait till people come out of the elevator instead of trying to get in,” the senior told the young mom as they stepped inside, according to a police complaint. NYDAILYNEWS
