Grandmother finds mummified grandson two years after he went missing

Dyquain Rogers was 21 when he was last seen alive in November 2014. But he failed to turn up for his job and his mobile phone, wallet, and glasses were discovered at his grandmother’s house.

In the run-up to his disappearance, he posted on Facebook saying ‘I have been having the worst luck lately’.

Another said: ‘People are acting strange lately and that’s why I’m doing it for me, not them’.

Numerous search parties were organized and the local area was scoured.

But then Zenobia Richmond heard a thud in her attic at her home in Erie Pennsylvania.

The noise is believed to be Dyquain’s body falling against the attic door, according to WICU 12 News.

His mother, Carol Rogers, said: ‘I just kept pretending like he just left Erie, so I just kept focusing on that, that he left here, that’s what I kept saying.’

Police have said they believe his death may have been suicide.
