TROUGH SYSTEM TO AFFECT SVG SUNDAY – TUESDAY

According to the latest update from the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office, a trough system is forecast to affect the island chain by late Sunday (tomorrow) and linger into Tuesday.

The trough is expected to generate an increase in cloudiness, showers and thunderstorm activity across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Residents living in landslide prone areas and along riverbanks are advised to be vigilant and exercise caution during the passage of this system.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), through the Meteorological Office will continue to monitor this approaching trough.
