Tropical Wave To Affect The Island

The St Vincent Meteorological service in their midday weather report says a Tropical wave will be affecting the island from Wednesday.

A tropical wave moving near 17 mph (27 km/h) is expected to affect portions of the Lesser Antilles including SVG. Due to dry Saharan dust haze around the environment of the wave, showers are expected to be occasional, and light to moderate in intensity.

Easterly to South-easterly winds ranging between 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph) are forecast to continue across our area. However, occasional gusts to near 45 km/h (28 mph) may accompany shower activity.
