A Trough System Will Continue To Affect The Island

The Meteorological Office says a trough system will continue to affect the island.

A trough is an elongated region of relatively low atmospheric pressure, often associated with fronts.

Most troughs bring clouds, showers, and a wind shift, particularly following the passage of the trough.

A Caribbean Sea tropical wave is along 64W from 20N southward, moving westward 10 to 15 knots.

Convective precipitation: widely scattered moderate to isolated strong from 10N to 20N between 55W and 70W.

Forecast: Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms
