Meanwhile now that the Windwards Volcanoes three practice games have been played, the selectors will sit and pick the final squad going into the 2019 CWI Regional 50-over cricket tournament. All of the Volcanoes contracted players will continue in tournament specific training, selected or non-selected players, up to the one-week camp.
The non-contracted players will be issued specialised programmes. Such training for both groups of players, will continue up to the assembling of the players for a Windward Volcanoes one-week camp prior to the tournament.
No deadline have been received from Cricket West Indies to submit the names of the selected players, so the selectors have sufficient time to deliberate, and select the best squad possible.
