Vincentian Vendors Protest At Bridgetown Port

Some Vincentian Vendors  living in Barbados are accusing some people in the Bridgetown Port of targeting them.

They say from forklift drivers to people processing documents, among others, are not cooperating and the delays are costing them thousands of dollars as their imported produce is spoiling at the port.

The accusations were made this week as several angry vendors chanted and protested outside the main entrance to the Bridgetown Port over what they deemed as unprofessional and dismissive treatment by some port workers.

They told the WEEKEND NATION, that for a number of months they had been experiencing several challenges.
