Successful Launch Of Locally Produced Rosetto Breadfruit Fries

The launching of Rosetto Breadfruit Fries, created by St Vincent & the Grenadines’ own Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. Saboto Caesar was a success.

Produced locally, Rosetto Breadfruit Fries became available on Monday 23rd October and is now being sold to fast food lovers at both outlets of KFC, and at supermarkets nationwide.

Present on Monday for the official launch at KFC was Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caeser along with Max Gousse Sr. Vice-President A&R at Island/Def. Jam Music Group and Liz Laidlow of Healthy foods.

C.E.O Deron Grant told News784 that the next step would be to focus on utilizing other local foods as well as getting other international fast food giants on board.

Grant says the product is locally made, the company is locally owned and is looking forward during this time of national pride for Vincentians to support local.

The product line Rosetto Fries is already being exported to other OECS member states and Barbados.

Rossetto Breadfruit Fries had its official tasting on Sunday, October 16th at KFC’s location in Rodney Bay, St Lucia.

The Minister said he hopes that all patriotic Vincentians will soon turn their backs to “imported potato fries” which is far less healthy than our local breadfruit fries.
