St Vincent Set To Open Embassy In Taiwan

St Vincent and the Grenadines is set to open an Embassy in the Asian nation of Taiwan this year. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on Thursday 11th July 2019.

Gonsalves said the Ambassador and Minister Consular have already been chosen.

He noted however that the Minister of Foreign Affairs would make the announcement in terms of personnel selected.

St Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic ties with Taiwan in 1981. Prime Minister Gonsalves is expected to visit Taiwan in August 2019.
