Several students were awarded on Friday by the Ministry of Education for having excelled in the 2015 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examinations.
Abigail Scott, a student of the Girls High School was presented with the Prime Ministers Award, for being the top performer overall at CSEC.
Scott was also rewarded for being the top Female Performer, while Jeremiah Augustus of the Thomas Saunders Secondary School was named the Top Male Performer.
The award for Top Male Performer after Remediation went to Martin Trimmingham of Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia, while the Top Female Performer after Remediation is Lemorna Williams also from Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia.
Trimmingham was also adjudged the top performer overall after remediation and received the FLOW Award.
The awards ceremony was held at the Methodist Church Hall.
