  1. Isn’t Japan the highest indebted nation in the world, even higher than Jamaica and SVG? Asia is the wealthiest region in the world, with the exception of Japan and all it’s debt. We should be nervous whenever these highly indebted nations get together to formulate “who-knows-what”? Hopefully the reason is just Japan thanking SVG for being a big supporter of Taiwan instead of Mainland China.
It is one thing that our PM goes to various countries that hand-out money loans for friendship, such as Venezuela, Taiwan and formerly, Quatar and Libya, (even though SVG badly mis-manages that money)but it is another to make policy with powerful nations that have even more debt than we do. Does anyone think these nations are going to make policy that will be profitable for our country (that has no power on the world stage) when they sit on such a pile of debt? It looks like Japan rolled-out the red carpet for our PM, That governs over a population smaller than a neighborhood in a tiny corner of Tokyo, why?

  2. This is all part of what we know as that “Great Game” the big boys play, with our PM fooling himself by thinking that little SVG can somehow punch above its weight on the world stage, in order to placate the rising China between the rest. This is just a complete delusion on Ralph Gonsalves part.
With this great game being played out between the parties Japan, China and Taiwan, delusional people like Ralph Gonsalves with oversized egos, are apt to get ideas of self-importance but let us face it, while he notches another visited country on his “been there list” how on earth does his traveling reduce our very high taxes or reduce the murder rate here in SVG!
