Flow SVG as part of their Corporate social responsibility will refurbish the waiting area of the Accident and Emergency Department at the MCMH.
Country manager of Flow Mr Wayne Hull making donations on behalf of the telecommunications giant to MCMH on Monday said the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital is one of the most critical institutions in the country.
Hull said that in their trust at Flow to connect communities and transform lives, this initiative is right along that path, and they decide it was right and fitting to jump on board, allowing the hospital to provide quality care to its patients.
“In addition to our donation to the Accident and Emergency Unit, we would also provide internet connection to the major surgical ward, which would be used to some extent in telemedicine”.
“ I think it is imperative, because of time, as you know, is very critical in any surgical procedure”.
Hull stated that total donations would include $5000.00, a 50 Inch television along with internet service at the island’s central health facility.
