28-Year Old Salesman/Labourer Gets 4 Year Prison Term

Four years is the term of imprisonment that was imposed upon 28-year old Shane Davis a salesman/labourer of Dorsetshire Hill for possession of one shotgun and four cartridges without a license at Dorsetshire on January 10th, 2017.

The sentence was handed down upon him after he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 and entered a plea of guilty with legal representation from defence counsel Grant Connell.

Davis was intercepted with the illegal weapon by Law Enforcement Officers from the Rapid Response Unit who were on mobile patrol in the area on the date in question.

Reports are that while standing in the public road Davis having recognised the presence of the Police dropped the weapon along with a black pair of gloves and a black hairnet which were immediately retrieved by the Police thus leading to his arrest.
