Meet Marva Mc Donald Founder Of Vincy Blossoms

Marva Mc Donald is a nineteen (19) years old resident of Calder Ridge and also the founder of Vincy Blossoms. Her education started at the Belmont Government School in 2004.

She is a graduate of the Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia where she obtained seven (7) CSEC passes. Marva is now a final year student of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College division of Technical and Vocational Education (SVGCC-DTVE).

Marva aspires to be an Agricultural Science teacher in the future and that’s why she selected the Agricultural Science and Entrepreneurship programme to expand her knowledge and skills. Product development was a major aspect of the programme and this is where she found her love, hence the development of Vincy Blossoms.

Vincy Blossoms is a business that was founded by Marva Mc Donald that produces tea bags. The business first product was soursop leaf tea bags. She chose soursop leaf because of the awesome health benefits gained when consumed, to make it readily available and give customers local options to choose from.

After three years of establishment, Marva sees her business being a supplier for the regional and international market with a variety of teabags.

To successfully complete the Agricultural Science and Entrepreneurship programme Marva is attached to the Forestry Services Department at Campden Park.

After being in the Agricultural Science and Entrepreneurship programme, Marva realized the entrepreneur aspect of the programme which motivated her towards entrepreneurship not only in Agriculture, but she completed a course in sewing and is currently doing a cosmetology course.

Her passion for Agriculture in Secondary School where she learnt both theory and practical and her passion for entrepreneurship was developed in College.

Marva attributes her success to Father God, her parents Mr and Mrs Mc Donald, her motivating sisters Kerline, Petronella, Julia, Jillian and Paula, close friends and the lecturers in the Agricultural Science and Entrepreneurship programme.
