‘That ’70s Show’ star Danny Masterson charged with raping 3 women

(NY DAILY NEWS) – Actor Danny Masterson, who appeared for years in “That ’70s Show,” was charged with raping three women in the early 2000s, the Los Angeles County District Attorney said Wednesday.

Masterson, 44, is accused of raping the three women, aged between 23 and 28 at the times of the alleged incidents, in his California home between 2001 and 2003.

He faces three counts of rape by force or fear, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s office. The office said it declined to file sexual assault charges in two other cases, one due to a lack of evidence and the other because of the statute of limitations.

In 2017, four women accused Masterson of rape, prompting Netflix to cut ties with the actor and end his role in the show “The Ranch.”

The Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation; Masterson said he was innocent.

Masterson faces a maximum sentence of 45 years in jail.
