Fitz Hughes Farmer Busted With Over 3 Pounds Of Cocaine

51-year-old Susan Debique-Mason a farmer of Fitz Hughes who now resides at Rose Hall has been busted by Law Enforcement Officers for having in her possession 3.99 pounds of cocaine at Port Kingstown on Friday, January 11th, 2019.

A police source said that they acted on certain information which they received and went to the port where a box containing the drugs was discovered which led to Debique-Mason’s arrest.

She was escorted to the Serious Offences Court on Monday, January 14th before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne and entered pleas of not guilty on three separate charges; for having in her possession the drug with intent to supply to another, for the purpose of trafficking and attempted to import the drugs.

 There was no objection to bail which was allowed in the sum of$20,000.00 with one surety.  She was asked to surrender all travel documents to the court among other things.

The matter to March 15th, 2019 when the matter is expected to commence.
