TRINIDAD: Two teenagers charged with knifing murder

(Trinidad Express) – Two boys are expected to appear before the Port of Spain Children’s Court today, charged with the January 2 murder of Keenan Smith.

The teenagers were charged with murder by Sgt. Sydney Job, of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 2, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.

Smith, 23-years-old, of Curepe, was stabbed about the body with a knife at a house in the district around 9:30 pm after getting into an altercation. He died at the scene.

The accused were arrested shortly after in connection with the incident.
