A WOMAN and a teenager were among three people who appeared in the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with robbing a sales woman at gunpoint of sweet bread worth six dollars.
Home-maker Ariana Williams, 30, Adesh Taylor, 19 and Travis Ali, 24 said they were not guilty of the offence which allegedly occurred against Shamila Mohammed on November 14 at Chase Village. It was alleged that they used a firearm during the alleged robbery.
They also said they were not guilty of robbing Hagar Ross, while armed with a firearm, of TT$400 on the same day at St Mary’s Junction in Freeport.
Taylor also denied an additional charge of robbing Vicky Joseph of $173 at the Preysal Flyover, Couva also on November 14.
The charges were laid by constable Mohammed of the Freeport Criminal Investigations Department.
The three faced magistrate Adrian Darmanie.
