TRINIDAD: COP falls ill, taken to medical centre

TRINIDAD EXPRESS – An exhausted Police Commissioner Gary Griffith fell ill on Sunday and checked himself into the St Clair Medical Centre, Port of Spain for a medical evaluation.

Griffith suffered abdominal pains and underwent a series of tests to check his blood pressure, cholesterol, and other vital functions.

Doctors declared him physically well but advised that he was pushing himself too hard.

The Express was told that Griffth, who has to return to the medical center today for a follow-up visit, does not intend to take leave from work.
