TRINIDAD: Child, 15, gunned down while repairing boat

(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) – A 15-year-old boy who was helping his father repair a boat at the Claxton bay Fishing Port on Saturday afternoon, was shot and killed.

At around 1.40 p.m, Isaiah Havelock and his father Wayne Havelock, 35, working on the pirogue when a gold coloured Nissan Almera entered the bay area.

Four men, all masked and carrying guns began shooting at the Havelocks.

The boy was shot in the right lower back. His father was unhurt. Responding police officers took the boy to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
