Man ordered to repay millions to ex-employer

(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) – A FORMER manager at SuperPharm Ltd has been ordered by a High Court judge to repay the company in excess of $2 million that he allegedly defrauded it during the course of his tenure, by way of deception or misrepresentation.

SuperPharm was seeking to recover closer to $4 million which it said the former employee took, but Justice Frank Seepersad dismissed part of its claim, saying the company had failed to provide evidence, by way of invoices or bank records, to prove Darren Dookie had taken all of the money it was claiming.
