Loxton Mitchell, a Grenadian born Contemporary Gospel Artiste is sole Caribbean artiste to compete in the prestigious European Gospel Festival in Montegrotto Terme, Italy in August of 2019.
The festival runs from the 29th of August to the 1st of September 2019 and commences with a concert featuring the soulful Loxton Mitchell among other talented singers, choirs and musicians across the world.
Loxton will also be competing in the European Gospel Competition on the 30th and 31st of August, where he will perform to an international panel of judges. He will also participate in the famed “Bazil Meade Experience” workshop dedicated to vocal and musical excellence while in Italy.
The “Reason to Worship” breakout artiste aims to reach this generation through his ministry, throughout the Caribbean and the rest of the world and this is a step in that direction.

Equipped with an acoustic guitar, this contemporary Gospel Artiste is ready to take the music scene by storm. Loxton has opened for the likes of William McDowell and Sinach and performed at the Pure Grenada Music Festival in 2016 and 2018.
He was the featured artiste in the “Sing It Like The Stars” Competition in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 2018 and performed in the Barbados Gospel Festival in 2019. Loxton will like to thank the cooperate community of Grenada and the Arch City Entertainment Management Agency for their support in his preparation for the European Gospel Festival.
