Little Caesars Pizza Chain Now In Jamaica

United States pizza chain Little Caesars is now in Jamaica. This, in addition to Pizza Hut and Domino’s, brings to three the number of pizza franchises operating in the island. Restaurant Associates, the operators of the Burger King and Popeye’s franchises, pulled the wrappers off their latest outpost in St. Andrew over the Christmas weekend.
“It was a soft opening of sorts but the response has been good in terms of consumer activity and response,” Sabrina McDonald Radcliffe, regional sales and marketing manager, at Restaurant Associates, told Gleaner Business, noting that they were determined to pull it off before 2017.
“We opened for business over the weekend in keeping with our personal commitment to open before year-end,” she added.
Little Caesars is the third-largest pizza chain in the United States, behind Pizza Hut and Domino’s Pizza. Little Caesars is headquartered in downtown Detroit, Michigan, and prides itself on the ‘Hot N Ready’ concept which has proven to be a market disrupter in the United States.
McDonald Radcliffe says Restaurant Associates hopes to replicate the success in the United States, beginning with a co-branding effort with Popeye’s at the Manor Centre location in St Andrew.
