AR Retail S.A., a company which is part of Grupo Promérica, announced today that it is introducing American brands Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy to Central America and the Caribbean as part of a franchise partnership with Gap Inc.
The group plans to launch two stores in Costa Rica in 2019 and three additional stores in 2020. Starting in 2021, new stores will open in Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and the Dominican Republic.
Throughout the next eight years, Grupo Promérica is targeting to open 45 stores in the region, all of which will be operated by AR Retail S.A. or its affiliates.
