Cops kill two in during shootout in Trinidad

(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) – TWO MEN were fatally shot by police in Freeport on Friday. The men are yet to be identified.

Police said that around 4 a.m. two constables of the Freeport station were on patrol along Fireburn Road where the spotted a parked vehicle.

As officers approached the vehicle, the occupants opened fire, police said. The officers returned fire and the two men were shot multiple times.

They were taken to the Chaguanas District Health Facility where they were pronounced dead.
