CANNASVG Limited is a fully incorporated private company, set up within the jurisdiction of St Vincent & the Grenadines since 2018 & where formal Licensing for Cultivation, Manufacture & Research have been obtained since December 2019.
Long term lease agreements for 60 plus acres of land, located in the Mt Bentinck area of Georgetown are also formally in hand & bulk services of electricity via Vinlec & water via CWSA & the Mongoru & Langley river irrigation systems are currently being implemented.
The Company has been formed by a consortium of entrepreneurs from Gibraltar, a UK overseas territory with a rich history of business development and trade ties globally. The consortium’s investments and experiences range from agriculture, to construction and site management, as well as signiﬁcant experience within the hemp/cannabis cultivation and processing sector .
The Board of Directors of CANNASVG all feel strongly about the importance of generating local employment, giving back to the community, and most importantly, the transferring of skills, the Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of CANNASVG will form an integral part of ongoing development and commitment to the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
To this end, sound working relationships has been developed over the past 18 months with the Ministry of Agriculture, under the guidance & help of The Honourable Minister Saboto Caesar, Medicinal Cannabis Authorities most capable & competent staff, under the direction of Dr. Jerrol Thompson.
CANNASVG Ltd is also currently working with the Alternative Holistic and Organic Co-Operative Society Limited, to ensure that as wide as possible reach is obtained for access into traditional growers’ knowledge & skill sets.
The company will have the ability to cycle up to 7,000 plants per hectare, growing as many different strains as is deemed necessary & will also have the ability to procure multiple end products from other than own sources & process these for direct export into the European market.
A main advantage that CANNASVG has is a current, formal & functional relationship & end user off take arrangements with entities in Europe, already established & formally licensed to supply end user, commercial ready for sale Cannabis Products.
The advent & massive global impacts of COVID-19 have unfortunately also affected the original CANNASVG start up & project implementation planning, it is however hoped that the situation will too some degree be normalised fairly soon & a resumption of the full project can once again commence. (PR)
