Barbados: Workers unite to demand outstanding payments

Former workers of Accra Beach Hotel, Savannah Beach Hotel and the Barbados Hilton teamed up this morning to demand outstanding severance payments and other entitlements

Opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley was on the scene and chatted with the workers.

Prime Minister Mia Mottley pledged Monday during her Independence Address that the National Insurance Scheme will pay the workers and later recoup the funds from employers. (Barbados Today)
