At a press briefing on Thursday 23rd April, 2020, Minister of Health Luke Browne stated that St Vincent and the Grenadines now has that all cases so far have been mild to moderate.
Patients were able to be managed within the Health System, and no health care worker has fallen ill form COVID-19.
SVG has so far tested 101 persons and more testing needs to be done, the Minister says it is hopeful that within a weeks time testing should begin in SVG with the PCR testing.
The latest case is a possible local transmission which is under investigation, this according to the Minister of Health.
The Minister noted that the COVID-19 task force is looking at the repatriation of Vincentians and also the resumption of international flights.
