680 households in SVG to access internet connection for $10.00

The NTRC will be offering 680 households in St. Vincent and the Grenadines the opportunity to access internet connection under the USF SMART Project for a period of two years at a cost of $10.00 per month.
For persons who wish to apply for Subsidized Internet, please note the following:
(1) The household must have no previous monthly fixed Broadband access within the last 2 years.
(2) The household must have access to a desktop, laptop or tablet.
(3) Households with the following students will be given priority:
• Students in Grade 6 in primary schools
• Students in Forms 4 and 5 in secondary schools
• Students enrolled in courses at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College
• Students enrolled in online/distance teaching courses
To be eligible to receive the Subsidized Internet, a form must be filled out with the required information. Forms can be obtained at the NTRC’s Office located on the Second Floor of the NIS Building.
