Capt Jonathan Palmer, made his last flight on Friday as a commercial pilot after a flying career that spanned 44 years.
He was greeted with a water salute on arrival at the AIA to honour this achievement, along with officials and staff of the Aviation sector.
Palmer is the founder and owner of Mustique Airways, which serves several airports in St Vincent and the Grenadines and the Caribbean.
He will certainly be remembered for his brave Medevac night flights into Union Island to save lives.
Happy Retirement Captain!
