Tambu Patrick along with Colette George both of Layou has been arrested and charged jointly for gun and ammunition possession on April 11th, 2018 at Layou.
Both Patrick and George are accused of having one 9mm firearm along with seven rounds of ammunition without the license.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne on Friday, May 18th both men pleaded not guilty to the charge. Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche did not object to George’s bail which was allowed in $1,200.00 with one surety.
He is to surrender all travel documents to the Court and to report to the Police Station twice weekly between 6 am and 6 pm and is not to leave the state without the express permission of the Court. Patrick was already on bail for another offense.
Both defendants will to the Serious Offences Court on June 6th, 2018 when the matter is expected to cup up for hearing.
