The police officer was in 2016 repatriated to St Vincent to answer charges of sexual assault and incest.

In 2016, the 37-year-old was taken before the Family Court charged with having unlawful sexual intercourse with an 8-year-old student, she being a girl under the age of 13.

He was also charged with having sexual intercourse with the same girl, whom he knew to be his daughter, and indecently assaulting her.

The offences of unlawful sexual intercourse and incest were allegedly committed in SVG between 2007 and 2013, while that of indecent assault allegedly occurred in January 2013.

The crimes were allegedly committed while the accused was still a police officer. The lawyer who represented the ex-cop was Kay Bacchus Baptiste.
