(NEW YORK POST) – A burglar was caught with his pants down in a Brooklyn girl’s bed early Tuesday morning — and left his underwear behind when he fled, according to police.
The intruder slinked into a first-floor bedroom inside a home on 39th Street between 15th and 16th avenues in Borough Park at about 3:30 a.m. while his victim slept, officials said.
The 14-year-old victim awoke to find the man laying in her bed with his hand over her face, cops said. She screamed and woke up her 10-year-old sister, who also began shouting.
Then the man fled, pulling his pants up as he ran, the girls told police.
“They’re shaken. We’re all shaken. We’re petrified,” said neighbour Chaya Tomlin, 27.
Cops believe he got in through an unlocked window and left his underwear and a bicycle at the scene. No one was injured or required medical attention, police said.
Brooklyn Special Victims Division is investigating.
