SVG Took Part In Regional Police T20 Competition

A twenty seven (27) member delegation, of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Cricket Team, along with Dr. Linton and Mrs. Lewis departed SVG on Sunday March 25th, 2018, to participate in the annual regional police T20 competition, hosted in Grenada at Progress Park, in the Parish of St. Andrew.

 The delegation was led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Frankie Joseph.

Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dr. Hon Keith Mitchell delivered the keynote to the teams, at the Grenada Trade Centre and declared the tournament open.

The Regional Cricket Tournament began on the Monday, March 26, 2018, and concluded on 2 April, 2018.

 The Participating countries are Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and the host country, Grenada.

This is the 9th year of the tournament, while the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force touted six (6) overall victories, and went to Grenada as the defending champions; St Lucia took the title this time around.
