KINGSTOWN – A private air carrier from the South American nation of Suriname has shown interest in flying to SVG.
This would become a reality if discussions between officials of Fly-All-Ways and government authorities here take flight.
The discussion surrounding the new venture is still in its infant stages and was revealed by Prime Minister Gonsalves at a press conference in Kingstown on Monday 12th, March 2018.
He told members of the media that he had spoken with the Chief Executive Officer of the airline while on his state visit to Suriname.
Gonsalves said officials from Fly-All-Ways the Suriname based carrier would be in the state shortly to hold further discussions on the way forward.
The route being looked at is Suriname – SVG – Cuba – Suriname.
The flight would facilitate people to people, trade, with a specific look at where the integration movement is going.
Fly-All-Ways is a Suriname base airline which uses a fleet of Fokker 70 aircraft which carries a capacity of 80 passengers.
