The CARICOM Youth Ambassadors for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, are encouraging persons between 18 and 30 years old, throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who are interested in youth work, to apply for the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors’ (SVG) Committee.
The Committee, under the direction of the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors of St. Vincent and the Grenadines through the Youth Affairs Department within the Ministry of Youth, is charged with the responsibility of deepening regional integration efforts on a national level.
The CARICOM Youth Ambassadors are also advising persons there must be a strong interest in community and youth development and the willingness to utilize talents, skills and resources on a voluntary basis.
The Committee’s tenure will run until December 2018, during which time Committee Members are expected to participate in several campaigns and initiatives geared towards the promotion of the agendas of CARICOM and CSME, and raising awareness on social issues such as HIV/AIDS, crime and the prevention of violence against women and girls.
