Police Seeks Public Assistance In The Murder Of Jabarry Charles

The Police are asking anyone with information that would assist in the investigation. following a shooting incident on Wednesday that has left a 22yro man dead, to Contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) or any Police Station in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The police in a release stated that on Wednesday 24th January 2018, Police received information at about 8:56 pm, that masked gunmen approached a group of young men at the pavilion in Redemption Sharpes and opened fire.

Jabarry Charles 22 years unemployed of Redemption Sharpes, received gunshot wounds to the right side of his neck and shoulder.

He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), where he succumbed to his injuries.

Four (4) other persons received gunshot injuries and are currently at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) receiving medical care. They are Leon Neverson (20 years unemployed), Ronaldo Allen (20 years unemployed), Maurice Charles (18 years student) and Shemel Richardson (17 years Student) all of Redemption Sharpes.

According to the police report, the men were celebrating the birthday of the deceased at the time of the incident.
