VINSA To Host Panel Discussion on Youth Development

On Saturday January 13th, 2018, VINSA takes a step further in advocating for youth development by hosting their second Panel Discussion in place of their Lecture Series. Under the theme “Youths in Entrepreneurship – Challenging Societal/ Cultural Norms”, three panellists; Bernadette “Camille” Warren of Brio Che, Cenus Hinds of KONSERVI INC and Donella Power of Awali have been chosen to discuss and share their experience as young entrepreneurs.

The discussion will be held at the Peace Memorial Hall from 2 pm. All are invited to come and share in the discussion.

Finally, on Thursday 18th and Friday, January 19th the students will embark on an expo and school tour, respectively, to aid in the fulfilment of one of The UWI’s charter, i.e Being University Advocates.

This is a testament to the Pelican Pride of the Cavites at home and abroad. The members will be able to give a first-hand experience of what it is to study at Cave Hill, what’s available in terms of choosing a career path and, most of all, what a lovely experience university life is away from home. They are the Light Rising from the West!
