Some scattered showers are likely tonight as low-level clouds move across the island chain. A ridge of high pressure will continue to pump fresh to strong (20km/h – 45km/h) breeze across our area, therefore an advisory for Small craft operators and sea bathers to exercise caution remains in effect.
Some showers are likely tomorrow night, but greater instability is expected on Sunday as a trough to the north in the Central Atlantic moves closer to the island chain.
This low-level instability could be enhanced by a mid-level low and a jet stream that is forecast to be in the vicinity over the weekend. Model guidance is indicating showers approaching from the north. We will continue monitoring.
