Prime Minister Gonsalves said there are a number of investments ongoing and prospective ones within Agriculture, Tourism and Fisheries.
Among them Gonsalves said is the New port for Kingstown, the City at Arnos Vale, the public sector investment program including roads and bridges.
Within the area of Agriculture, Gonsalves said he had a discussion over the weekend with the Minister of Agriculture along with Petrona Sealey Browne a Vincentian and legal draftsperson working out of Jamacia, to do consultations along with the law and regulations on the issue of medical marijuana.
Gonsalves said there is a committee set up by the cabinet and chaired by the Hon Saboto Caeser on the issue of medical marijuana.
He said, he is hopeful that by the end of the first quarter of the year, they should have in the parliament a bill addressing medical marijuana and the medical marijuana industry.
Gonsalves said he is not yet talking about the decriminalisation of small quantities of marijuana for recreational and religious use, that he said is a longer debate and discussion.
