Campden Park resident 45 years old Kerwin Pierre has been arrested and charged by the Police at Questelles for causing grievous bodily harm upon 56 years old Lovel Anderson of the same address on November 20th, 2017.

The incident is said to have occurred on the date in question during a fracas between Pierre and another male.

It was during such time that Pierre upon seeing Anderson with a cutlass pulled it away from him and inflicted a severe wound to Anderson’s forehead resulting in his skull being fractured.

Pierre was taken to the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, November 22nd, 20917 before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne facing the charge.

Senior Adolphus Delpesche made an appeal to the Magistrate to have Pierre detained at Her Majesty’s Prison for seven days in the first instance citing that Anderson is currently warded at the Male Surgical Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital nursing the injury.

As a result of Delpesche’s application, the Chief Magistrate denied Pierre bail.
