Grammar School Reigns At National Public Speaking

Jaykwarn Donald- Payne did the St. Vincent Grammar School proud as he came out on top in the finals of Lions Club South/ FLOW National Secondary Schools Public Speaking Competition 2017 was held last evening at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown.

Donald- Payne won the Main Speech and Student Prepared Speech categories on the way to winning over his competitors.

In 2nd place was Alejandro Tesorero of the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, while Joel Ross of the St. Martin’s Secondary School placed 3rd.

The other finalists were Reyann Williams of the Mountain View SDA who won the Impromptu Speech Category, Jozelle Henry of the Bishops College Kingstown and Zoe Porter of the St. Vincent Girls High School.
