A man in his early 40’s is now a patient after sustaining gunshot wounds on Sunday morning.
At 2:04 am, Kingsley Bascombe a 43yrs Farmer of Carriere received multiple gunshots to his right hand, stomach and right foot.
A resident of the area told News784 he heard up to four gunshots just before 2 am. Kingsley who was returning from Kingstown, was on his way home when the incident occurred.
He was walking through the area of Collin, Mesopotamia when an unknown man came out of the darkness and opened fire on him.
The gun used according to a report appears to be a shotgun, because of the pellets that were left on the scene.
Bascombe was transferred to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
