News784 was informed that American citizen Dennis Elmeth Hanley drowned on Saturday 11th February in Bequia.
According to the information obtained, Hanley was swimming in Port Elizabeth bay when he encountered difficulties sometime around 3. 30 pm.
The police according to information, was notified around 4. 45 pm, the body was retrieved and efforts to resuscitate was futile.
Hanley was pronounced dead at the Port Elizabeth Hospital, he was 66 years old.
