LOCAL MEDIA COLLABORATE WITH TEMPO ON LIVE COVERAGE FOR OPENING OF AIA

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will officially open the Argyle International Airport on Tuesday, February 14th; this will be preceded by a Military Parade and Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, February 13th.

The Agency for Public Information (API) in collaboration with SVG TV and VC 3 will bring Live Television coverage of the events locally.

The events will also be broadcast to regional and international audiences via Tempo Cable Television Network.

The coverage will include a live panel with guest moderators, interviews, vox populi as well as coverage of the arrival/departure of flights on February 14th.

As part of the media and promotional campaign leading up to the Opening of the Argyle International Airport on February 14th, The Agency For Public Information in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister and Tempo Cable Television Network has teamed up to produce a series of programmes, entitled, – “The Realization of a Dream”, the coming on stream of the Argyle International Airport.

The first programme will feature Prime Minister Dr The Hon. Ralph Gonsalves on the realisation of his dream to build an International Airport in SVG; this will be televised on Tempo and local television stations commencing Tuesday, January 31st.

The events of February 13th and 14th at the Argyle International Airport will be televised live locally on Channel 116, SVG TV and VC3 and to local audiences via Tempo. Also, persons can watch via live stream on our Facebook: The Agency for Public Information SVG.
