Community Activist Terrance Bynoe Arrested

Community Activist Terrance Bynoe was arrested by law enforcement officers on the island of Canouan on Saturday 31st December 2016.

We were made to understand that a call Bynoe was trying to make to Nice Radio was cut short when the phone was confiscated by officers.

Officers according to the conversation cited disorderly conduct for the activist arrest.

Sources further indicated to us that Bynoe among others was headed to a beach picnic on Saturday when the incident occurred.

We are also learning that the area representative Hon Terrence Ollivierre journeyed to the island to ascertain reasons for the activist arrest.
