Analysis of the weather conditions during the night has indicated a steady diminishing of cloud cover and showers in the vicinity of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; the threat of flooding has decreased.
The trough system which generated cloudy skies and showers yesterday has moved out of our area overnight. As a result, the Flood Watch has been discontinued as of 6:00 am, today Friday December 23rd, 2016
Residents and motorists should continue to be on the alert, as this Watch may be reinstated if necessary.
The Barbados Meteorological Services and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office will continue to monitor the situation and provide the necessary updates.
