Vincentians continue to feel the effects of a trough system, more so in the northern half of the country.
In the North Windward community, areas of Sandy Bay suffered extensively with damage to houses and roads due to flooding and river action, and what some have described as the desecration of the dead by mother nature.
The North Leeward community of Rose Bank also felt the wrath of mother nature with destruction of its cemetery. Graves were literally uprooted and left exposed due to excessive rainfall.
This in it self has started a discussion on the possible health effects due the unearthing of coffins and the burial linens and bones of the dead according to some reports.
One thing that we as a people can be grateful for is that up to the time of this report, there have been no reports of death as a result of the passage of this latest trough system.
